Are you a taxpayer? Please consider 'Gift Aiding' your contributions to the parish. You can do this whether you donate in cash or by direct debit.

Gift Aid increases the value of your donations without any cost to you - in fact if you are a higher rate tax payer, you can reclaim the difference between the higher rate of tax and the basic rate of tax on your donations in your annual self-assessment tax return.

A simple way to ask the church, which is a registered charity, to reclaim tax on any donation you give to your parish, and thus, at the present rate of tax, increase the value of your contribution to parish finances by 25p in the £1.
