English Martyrs Maintenance Project Fund Appeal
This project was started when Fr Terry was here on the basis that it is our church and it is up to us all to maintain the church. The object of our fund raising apart from raising money is to have many more social events, to bring us all together to get to know each other better.
We agreed a 3 year plan and this is our second year. We set out an estimate that we needed something like £125,000 to pay for all the jobs which need doing. To date we have raised nearly £35,000 - we have a long way to go.
The result so far has been the relaying at the front of church with some new flag stones and the ramp at the side door for wheel chairs.
